It really wasn't more than two years ago when our world he was turned upside-down because of our little ragdoll-girl. A sweet diva Pami (Mirandos Party Girl) lead us into the fascinating world of the ragdoll-cats and cat shows, into a world from which there seems to be no chance of coming back to normal every-day life. And to keep company to Pami we of course had another ragdoll-girl, Nekku (Mirandos Daydream Believer). I think the biggest reason for this ragdoll-fascination I have is the Mirandos-breeder Riitta Paakki who's faithfully helped and counselled me on my way deeper into the mystic world of cats. Of a total madness for cats tells also the following story in which I, a serious and restrained working woman went in search of a perfect male.

we had an idea of having that one male to be with the ragdolls that had already conquered our house and to settle down miss Nekku and have babies. The breeder-name FIN*Kismarsis we had already got. Again with the help of Riitta Paakki we dived into the world of bits to find a genetically perfect male. The aim (as for all women) was to find the most handsome and best male somewhere in the world. Surprisingly we found a good amount of good males (as happens with the women too). It became difficult to choose the best among them (the problem women also have). Riitta was a precious friend to ponder the problem with (a kind of a friend women always have) and after a long time of thinking and re-thinking and exchangind e-mails, we decided to start the business with the Canadian Ritzyrags Cattery on the island of Vancouver.

In principle the best male was found nearly from next-door (as often happens to women). It was that we were anyway going to visit our relatives in Vancouver in July. A perfect male would then easily come along with us in the end of our holiday (as we know has happened to some women too).

So, in theory everything was already clear. We had found a perfect male in the Ritzyrags Cattery and we made a deal to buy him. Just before paying the final amount the Ritzyrags breeders Serge and Carol Marechal told us that the little brother of the male we had chosen was an even more perfect individual and that if we wanted to change our minds it would be possible. Again another torturing meditation and comparing of photos started (as I've heard has happened with some women too). After the long consideration I still couldn't decide which boy I wanted, so we took them both (a thing that has been done by very few women, except for Brooke Logan).

So we arrived home with Ridge and Thorne, I mean, Rölli (Ritzyrags Frankie Sinatra) and Tanttu (Ritzyrags Sir Duncan McCloud) in the end of July. And both males are totally astonishing, if not perfect both physically and mentally. In the future the choise between these gorgeous brothers is to be made by others. Last weekend a woman judge had a hard time pondering which of these brothers would be the more perfect one, to be nominated for the best in show. (As it usually goes, all women have to make a choise, except for Brooke Logan and me).
